Faster problem solving thanks to improved path analysis with Traceroute
With the new traceroute feature, you can now identify network problems even faster and more precisely. Rimscout not only continuously monitors the connection to central network stations, but also regularly performs an ICMP traceroute if required. This makes it even easier to identify and analyze problematic network hops. The results can be viewed in the portal at any time, allowing data from different clients to be compared and changes to be efficiently determined over time. This makes it even easier to identify and analyze problematic network hops.
Maximum reliability through invisible Rimscout operation
To ensure that Rimscout runs reliably in the background at all times, we have introduced the option of hiding the tray icon. This makes the client invisible to the user and prevents it from being stopped accidentally. This increases security and minimizes interruptions. If the icon is required for troubleshooting purposes, this setting can be adjusted at any time.
More efficient location management and faster analysis thanks to new optimizations
- New location assignment for VPN users: With the new location tag parameter, you can distinguish VPN users from local Office users more easily. This enables faster and more precise management of your locations.
- Easy comparison of test results: The new multi-selection function for the test result diagram saves you time and makes comparing data even more efficient. This means that nothing stands in the way of quickly uncovering correlations and outliers when analyzing problems.
- Precise detection of the network connection: Thanks to improved connection type detection, Rimscout will now always prioritize the physical adapter even when using virtual network adapters. This helps you to find problems related to the connection type more reliably.
